Scalby School geographers out and about!

The River study students undertake is worth 25% of their final grade at GCSE. The new flexible curriculum, where students do a GCSE in a year, has led to the Geography Department changing their fieldwork from an Urban study of Scarborough's street to looking at how the characteristics of a stream change as you move down stream.
The students from years 9 and 10 visited May Beck on Monday and Tuesday of this week. They collected a large amount of data which will now be written up on the computer and analysed.
